Program Overview

Philosophy

To identify players of the highest caliber on a continuing and consistent basis which will lead to increased success for the U.S. Youth Futsal Teams in the international arena.

Purpose

The Rhode Island Futsal Club is formed to identify a pool of players in each age group and to provide high-level training to benefit and enhance the development of said players. Players will be trained by high level qualified Futsal licensed coaches.

Rhode Island Futsal Club Selection Process

Rhode Island Futsal Club will hold try-outs on an annual basis. Age groups, try-out dates and times will be announced ahead of time.

How are Players Selected?
Players are selected on the basis of open tryouts. These tryouts are conducted by Futsal coaching staff who are Futsal licensed and recognized for their ability to identify and train players with superior futsal skills. In addition, scouting and invitations to certain players with the open tryouts will be used.
