About

Rhode Island Futsal Club (RIFC) was established in 2017 with multiple teams and quickly grew to three futsal teams. The interest has grown to expand the club and offer open tryouts for players that are looking for high-level training. RIFC is non-profit and is an entity of Rhode Island Futsal Association (RIFA), however operates separately with a different board structure.

RIFC is a true Futsal Club that welcomes players from all clubs. Coaches are evaluated and must have a valid futsal license to coach teams. Coaches will follow the clubs training methodology.

RIFC is not a soccer club and does not intend to compete with outdoor clubs. We do not recruit players for clubs, nor do we allow any coach to recruit players. We have a rigorous zero-policy on player recruitment for soccer clubs. We stress on this, since it's always a hot topic in soccer clubs today.

RIFC wants players to feel comfortable and welcomed to be part of the growing club in Rhode Island in a stress free environment and be coached with true Futsal coaches that are licensed, have played the game, understand the training methodology, and constantly stressing to be the best.

RIFC offers a low cost to each player, to offset the winter training season, where most clubs are off or give time off to players. This is a great opportunity to change to a faster game, getting more touches on the ball, enhance the players thinking, and much more.
